We Unearthed a Lot of Stories This Summer

Dinosaurs, mysteries, history, adventures and plenty of good books made their way through Shaw Library this summer.
Our 2026 Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story, invited readers of all ages to read, explore and discover from June 15 through August 14.
And when we say all ages, we mean it. Programming stretched from our tiniest readers all the way through teens and adults, with story times, crafts, games, challenges, special events and plenty of opportunities to earn prizes along the way.
Summer Reading may officially be over, but fortunately books have absolutely no respect for seasons.
There are still plenty of new stories waiting on the shelves.
Thank you to everyone who spent part of their summer reading, creating and exploring with us. We hope you found at least one new favorite book along the way.
