A New Chapter Is Taking Shape at Shaw Library

There’s something exciting happening at Shaw Public Library, and this particular story involves a little more than turning pages.
Improvements are underway at the library as we continue working to create a safer, more welcoming and more useful space for the Clearfield community.
One of the biggest additions is a new dedicated children’s space designed with families in mind. The project includes room for young readers to learn, explore and play, along with a family restroom and nursing room.
The project received $329,262 through Pennsylvania’s Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund toward a total project cost of $658,524.
For a library that serves everyone from our littlest readers to lifelong book lovers, these improvements are about much more than a building. They’re about making sure Shaw Library continues to be a comfortable community space where people can read, learn, gather and feel at home.
We can’t wait to share the next chapter with you.
